Black Screen after Loading Personal Settings (Startup)
Every time I launch FC24 from the EA launcher I get the title screen and the screen that prompts me to load my saved settings, which I do. The screen then goes fully black, and I hear the splash screen voice saying "EA Sports, It's In the Game". After clicking enter on my keyboard or A on my controller as I normally would to move past the screen, the FC24 loading icon pops up on the bottom of my screen for a few seconds, and one or two separate lines of text, indecipherable by me, appear on my screen for less than a second then disappear just as quickly. While this is happening the rest of the screen is still black. After a few seconds, the loading icon goes away, and I can hear the main menu music, but any buttons I press seem to do nothing. The only thing that I can remember as being different when I first noticed this issue, which was Sunday, April 14th, 2024, was that as I clicked PLAY in the EA launcher to play the game a screen popped up asking me to choose from either a cloud save or a local save. This is most likely because the night before I had quit Manager Career via Alt+F4 instead of saving and quitting the normal way. I chose the local save, as I had done a few times in the past with no consequences, and then this black screen issue started. I exceed all the required specs to run FC24 and have over 400 hours on it, and it has worked pretty much perfectly throughout all my previous hours. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling this game, I have tried using the repair function available on the EA launcher, and I have tried restarting my PC as well as running a clean boot. None of these worked.
Attached are photos of what my game looks like when I try to play it. I didn't include photos of the straight black screen as I assume that everyone knows what black looks like.
