Bug with created player faces: random photo instead of blank face

I just want to share something I discovered that I found curious. Many of you might have experienced that bug where, when creating a player, the game randomly assigns a real player's photo instead of the generic image it should. Although I'm not sure what causes it, after some testing, I have a better understanding of how it works.

Contrary to what many might think, the error doesn't occur because the game finds a physical resemblance or similarities in our player's information with that of the player whose photo is used.

It seems the game generates a list of faces it will assign to the next players, for example, it could look something like this:

1 - Blank face
2 - Peter Someguy < (random real player)
3 - Blank face
4 - Blank face
5 - John Otherdude < (random real player)

So, the first player you create will have a blank face, as it should. However, when you save the second player, they'll be assigned Peter's photo. No matter how you customize their appearance or information, the game had already decided before you created the first player which face each one would have. Similarly, the third and fourth will have a blank face, while the fifth is destined to have John's face. I don't know what criteria the game uses to create this list or which players it includes in it.

While this isn't a solution, you can avoid spending time creating your player only to find out later that the game assigned them a random face. To do this, you need to back up your files, go into the player creation, create one or more players (depending on how many you want to create), and note which ones have a blank face and which ones have a real player's face. Restore your saved files, and the game will respect the order as long as you go directly to player creation. Doing other things, like playing matches or starting to create a player and then canceling, can affect the list.

Ideally, they would fix the bug, but for now, it is what it is.
