Can't accept Contract Offer in EA FC 24 Player Career Mode

Troubleshooting: Tried restarting the game and console and going back to previous save but nothing has changed.

I'm currently on a journey taking my local club from League Two and towards the Premier League. At the end of the season, when it came to renewing my player's contract, even though I didn't complete 1 Optional Objective I was given a contract that was higher than I requested. I wasn't given the option to either accept it or re-negotiate the contract, the only option I was given was to change clubs. 

I had researched in the community and online to see if this was a common issue, and it turns out it is. Attached are screen shots showing the issues I and others have had. No matter how well you do in a season for your club, if you fall short on 1 objective, you don't get the option to accept the contract given to you or renegotiate. 

If anyone else has encountered this problem, press the Me Too button or reply so there's a better chance it gets looked at. It would be great if this was resolved!
