so guys i think i found a solution you basically need to delete your squad and then create one dont delete the players only delete the squad and then place them again
I have same issue now, i deleted the game completely and reinstalled and it worked for 1 match, next match same bug! I need to close the game completely and reopen it and use only the quick change suggestions in game!!! Ut really sucks and so much annoying !! Pls fix your game EA omg!!

Ok, let me ask u something. After u deleted ur squad did u edit the formations and did u make changes to the defensive or offensive alternatives planes? Did u assign players to Free kick ir corners, or u left everything as it is, default?
i had same initial idea because when i deleted the game and reinstalled, i deleted my squads in companions app while waiting for the game to be installed, so I didn’t know what made it work for 1 match. So u saying now that after i made some new changes to my new created squad the problem appeared again! I wish to know what it is
