Can't launch the game

Hi, I recently re downloaded the game from Steam on my new computer after having not played for almost 18 months. It's now been 15 hours since I completed the download and everytime I try to open the game it says that it is impossible due to an error on EA's side. Do you have any ideas why ? Do you know who I should contact to get informations ?
