Controller not working in online modes fc24

Question

So, I've been trying to play division rivals and do some 1v1s with my friend. But I literally can't, sometimes the controller completely doesn't work or just has a huge delay.

I press to change the player it doesn't even change if it does it's after like 30 seconds. Really? I can not even move, however when I try pass the ball it just powers up but there's no reaction, same with shooting etc.

Help, please.

@Darozon Try locking fps to 30, worked for me but someone from EA needs to respond on this issue. Didn't buy a PC game to get the same framerate as the Switch version.

locking to 30 fps only partially fixes the problem.
the controller still randomly becomes unresponsive.

and it also puts us at a huge disadvantage when playing against players with higher fps
