CPU overheating when playing EAFC 24

I have a,

Intel I9-1300K

Nvidia 4080

Coolermaster TD500

1000watt power supply

Asus z690 motherboard

32 gb ram ddr4

The menus are perfectly fine, but while playing any games my cpu temps rise well above 90 degrees Celsius. It constantly crashes, turned it down to 720p and I can get through a game while yhe temps still rise to around 90, but this shouldn't be the case. My computer isn't even a year old and I don't download anything suspicious. I couldn't even play fifa 23 so at least they fixed that issue, but I would rather not have my cpu get melted. What do I need to change. I've also maxed my frames to 60 and turned on vsync so they match. What else can I do so my cpu doesn't get destroyed or do I just need to wait for EA to optimize the game even more.

  • Same here, it's the only game that puts my CPU at 100%... I have a Ryzen 5 5600X, which works very well everywhere else without reaching +90%.

  • I am having the same issue on fc 25. Did you end up finding a solution?
