created player limit on fc24 and fifa 23

I heard the player limit cap for both is 50 but some claim to have made a unlimited amount of players without a glitch. For context, I am making a tournament that would require 100+ players to create and I've done this on fifa 22 but its finally reached a level where its glitching midgame and many players names' not being shown. So please if anyone whos faced a similar experience with being capped at 50 players or has been able to make 100+ players without the game crashing, please let me know what i should do or not before buying either of the games.
