DualSense Controller only works when limiting FPS to 30

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play any online mode in EAFC.
What happens when the bug occurs? Players run off of the pitch in random directions, no controller inputs registering.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to play the game normally with the controller.
Game works perfectly fine in offline modes, does not work in online (rivals, clubs)
Joined about 35 rivals matches troubleshooting, changing game and display settings, nothing works. Couldn't play in a single one without limiting the game to 30 FPS which made the game near unplayable with all the screen tearing.
Players just run in one direction when match kicks off.
Controller: Dualsense, wired
Other USBs: ethernet and hdmi connected through usb-c adapter
