It seems clear you have a hardware issue, please retry once that is resolved, thanks.
My sons laptop arrived back from HP yesterday with a new drive with a fresh (factory) build installed.
Installed EA and FC 24 as the first things we did but the error is still there. The hardware has passed all HP tests so where do I go now, just saying there is probably a hardware error is no help at all. It's like saying there's a problem with your car without indicating what problem has been found (is it brake, engine, fuel supply, suspension, tyres, EMS ....). Tell me what error has been detected and I have a chance (car won't stop or pulls to one side, won't start, makes noises, rough ride, runs in limp mode ...)
I have raised another case and felt the advisor just wanted to get me off the chat so they could do something else. Apparently my case has been passed to the Technical team and they'll get back to me by email.
How they're going to identify the issue when they know nothing about my setup (unless the EA software extracts details and stores it centrally) I don't know. I asked if they wanted my details and apparently the technical team are so clever they don't need it.
I'm thinking the latest update to AntiCheat causes it to fail on my sons PC and the error message is just some default (we didn't expect that to happen) message.
It's not my son's account that is the problem as he has tried to run FC24 on another (non gaming) machine. No anticheat errors and the game launches but is unplayable as the hardware can't handle it.
This faulty software is depriving my son of access to the service he has paid for, he's not happy and I'm amazed at how EA can get away with this.
In the "real" world this would be a Sev 1 problem being given proper focus by support but I have no confidence this is the case here.
