I also have the same issue. Purchased EA FC24 from CDKeys, redeemed it within the EA app which it was for the full game and it accepted it. The game was stuck on preparing for 5 Mins and downloaded never even started. Closed the EA App completely with ending task for EA App and ending all EA Background services, re-opened the app and was still stuck, decided to cancel the download and tried to download it again, but it isn't appearing in My Game Library.
Tried all of the following from that thread as mentioned by @EA_Leeuw :
1. Refreshed Library page in EA App
2. Confirmed EA App is up to date.
3. Confirmed that the Code is for EA FC 24
4. As mentioned above I manually restarted the EA App by Ending task for EA app and all EA Background services.
5. Cleared Cache from within the app, and even tried clearing it from the App Recovery.
6. Uninstalled the EA App and downloaded a fresh copy from the EA website. Re-installed the app and restarted as is needed to complete the installation.
Despite all of this, the game is still not appearing in my Library ☹️
Seems to be a Server issue after all.
Could someone from EA please assist us?

Based on my research, it appears that purchasing the game from unauthorized retailers may lead to issues in FC 24. Even if you previously bought the game from such sellers without facing problems, it seems that this issue has emerged in FC 24. I found an EA help article stating that unauthorized retailers often sell digital games as "CD keys," and purchasing these from unknown sources increases the risk of obtaining an unauthorized or illegally obtained product. If you contact the EA Support team, they will also advise you to get in touch with your retailer. I advise you to get in touch with your retailer, request a refund, and then buy the game from an authorized retailer again to avoid any further problems.
I think i'm just unlucky with my cd key i got. Last year i bought Fifa 23 from the same place (cdkeys.com) and never had these issues. My mates bought EA Sports FC 24 from the same website, and didn't have this issue. Surely EA can see that the Key is legit and at least add the Game into my library instead of disabling it. Am waiting a response from the cdkeys.com guys themselves.
I'm now am no longer having issues. After a few days, i re-opened the Ea app, cleared the cache and now the game is appearing in my library.
