EA FC 2024 Pause Bug in Manager Career Mode

I'm playing EA FC 2024 on PC, Windows 11, through XBOX Gamepass, and this problem happens every playthrough. While i'm on a match, sometimes the players hud (showing the names and shirt numbers) disappears and it also becomes impossible to pause. I've tested my start button in external apps to see if that was the problem, but it is working fine. This bug causes me to get stuck in midgame cutscenes showing the players training, the crowd cheering, etc. But I can't continue the game or check any of the options that should appear when half time comes up.

Then I need to restart the game and lose all my progress up to this point.
