EA FC 24 clubs support

I joined a pro clubs drop in game but I didn't have control of my player, it was AI controlled. If I went to leave I got the standard message that my XP would be lost - and if you quit you get given a 2.0 rating if it's the same as last year, and that's very difficult to come back from.

So I let the game play out, bizarrely I still had to press buttons every now and again so I wasn't deemed as being inactive.

Against all odds my AI controlled player got 2 assists and a 9.8 rating - it confirmed this in the top players line up at the end of the match.

The next screen where your XP is tallied up, however, it showed a 3.0 rating! Even with the 2 assists. This has battered my average rating.

I imagine this is a known issue by now, can I be compensated in some way for this fault? XP boost/skill points?
