EA FC 24 constant preparing and not downloading

Hi ea. I bought the game through steam, however through steam I am only able to preload and it says I can play from the 29th of September. I have bought the ultimate edition and it is in my library on the ea. app. However whenever I try to download it on the ea. app in order to be able to play it as it says it is available It is constantly on preparing and never actually downloading. I have tried various methods in order to get it to work but I am still unable to download the game through the ea. app in order to play it.
