EA FC 24 goes to a black screen

Whenever I am playing FC24 and decide to play a game as the player in career mode, or decide to play tournament mode, I can’t load into the game. It just gets stuck on the splash screen and keeps acting like it’s loading. I know it’s not necessarily frozen because I can still hear the music and can change it too. This is on my PC that I have connected an XBOX controller to. I’ve checked all system requirements and everything seems compatible. I have an Iris XE Graphics Card.
