Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear you've been unable to play your EA games for so long. I need some information first to be able to help you.
1 - What is the error message you see when trying to launch the games? Is it the same message for all games?
2 - Which troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
3 - Could you please provide a DxDiag? How to gather information on your PC using DxDiag

Hi, thanks for replying.
Let me explain what happens. When the EA app is shut down and the background services everything is shut down and when I open it for the first time, despite having a very good internet connection I see the details of my game in loading state for hours. I have tested this by keeping my pc on for hours. During this time if I try starting the game from game the same thing happens which I mentioned. It just shows a EA window popup saying "Preparing game" and then closes. No error message.
Now few hours pass and the loading state in the EA app is gone and I am able to see the details of my game. Now when I start the game the same window says preparing game and then closes. But now I see an error message in the EA app saying background services were blocked by antivirus or firewall(attached screenshot).
Now obviously I have tried turning off the windows firewall on both private and public network which is the only understandable solution among many provided on Youtube and other forums on Steam. I have tried reinstalling the game, running the game, Steam app and EA app as administrator. I have tried adding the game to Program settings in exploit protection and setting the Control flow guard as override system setting and the radio button as off.

Thanks for the detailed description. It looks like you've tried the most relevant troubleshooting steps so far. As a Clean Boot should disable any background programs that might be conflicting with the EA app and the game, and you have also disabled the firewall and so on, I recommend now trying a new Windows Admin account to see if that helps.

Please try setting up a new Windows Admin account, run the game and the EA app as admin and let us know how that goes,

- ankurch4510 months agoRising Novice@EA_cuervo I tried this setting up a new admin account and running my EA app and FC 24 from there, both running as administrator but they behave the same as mentioned in the original issue. Do you have any other solutions I can try?
