EAFC 24 Player Career Mode, CAPITAINCY BUG.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Remove our players becoming captain of their teams as soon as they break into the 1st squad. Its immersion breaking. Since you guys removed the Homegrown Talent feature, the Player Career has very much become the alternative to that. But now, the player career is glitching too.
What happens when the bug occurs? Whenever your player becomes part of the first team, regardless of their age and/or overall, they automatically become the team captain. For instance, I did a player career with Liverpool and upon breaking into the 1st team, my 19 year old 75 rated striker became the captain over Van Dijk. I did a second player career with PSG, and the same thing occurred. Upon breaking into the 1st team, my 17 year old 69 rated midfielder was chosen captain over Mbappe. It is both frustrating and highly immersion breaking.
What should be happening instead? Before the EURO update, the system worked fine. What caused this bug to occur now ?

EA please fix this it truly ruins the realism, and immersion. It seems like a small glitch, that should be able to be fixed relatively quickly.

@Marbin8 They're not paying attention. If it's not ultimate team, they could cate less. It's shameful.

Hey everyone, i found a fix for the captain bug. When on player career mode, use number 99 for your first club. At agent find a club u would like to join, probably a low mid club as the transfer objectives are not high expectations. Before u transfer to the club, keep the 99 number still. Change it after u already transfered to the new club.

I swear ever since this euro update player career made that (even when you've not used skill points) no matter ur age u can be the captain as soon as you enter the starting xi. I understand u guys don't pay attention to career mode at least just remove that bug I honestly don't like wearing the captain armband so plz fix this

When I implement the method you first turned me on, a player with a high OVR is depicted as the main player of the production as before in his team, but the problem still remains in the national team.
Players with low OVR who have not done anything are represented as the main players in the production.

They do it on purpose, because They want you to buy FC EA 25... FIFA23 had the same problem, when FC EA 24 was released 🤷‍♂️

By any chance, could it be cured without changing the back number before the transfer, but by setting the back number to 99 after the transfer, saving it once, reloading it, and then changing the back number back to the original number?

I know how to fix the captain glitch. Just delete fc 24 from the storage place not the library. When it finishes downloading don't do the euro update just pause and delete it. And there no more captain glitch.
