A DxDiag report could help us determine what could be causing this issue. Please follow this link:
Attached is a copy of my Direct x diagnostics
Before the update I copied the game files to my external hard drive. After updating the game started glitching with the black screen. After trying all I could to fix. Nothing worked. I deleted the game folder and restored the previous game backup and it's playing fine.
So the big is in the update not dxdiag.
Other users are reporting experiencing the same issue after updating the game with the latest update
