FC 24: Can't make substitutions in Ultimate Team (in Team Management)

I have an issue in FC 24 / PS5 ultimate team substitutions, when I press "start" button and go to "Team Management" in any match I can't substitute any player, not even the starting 11 players with each other, when I change any player with another player .. I just see the icons of the players shift places but both of their names doesn't shift places, and also when I'm inside the "Team management" mid-game when I play "Rivals" or "Champions" I can't leave the screen by pressing "circle" button, I have to wait for the timer to finish counting down to automatically return to the match, and in "Squad Battles" it's way worse because I can't return to the match, I have to close the whole game from the PS5 and start the game again.

By the way I tried to delete and reinstall the game in my PS5 and it didn't work.

Please help me to find a way to fix this issue as it's affecting me very badly.

I solved the issue by simply deleting all my Squads in Ultimate Team and I was able to change and substitute players, and I was able to leave "Team Management" in the middle of the game, try this method before trying anything else.

    Firstly, make sure that your game and PS5 system software are up to date. Sometimes these updates can fix underlying issues.

    If the problem persists:

    1. Database Rebuild: Consider rebuilding your PS5's database. It's similar to a PC's defrag function and can fix various software glitches. To do this:

        - Turn off the PS5 (not in rest mode).

        - Press and hold the power button until you hear the second beep.

        - Connect a controller using a USB cable and press the PS button.

        - Select 'Rebuild Database'.

    2. Settings Reset: Navigate to Settings > System > System Software > Reset Options > Reset Your Console > Reset. This will reset all settings to default but won't delete any data.

    3. EA's Support: It's crucial to make EA aware of the issue. Even if one support representative didn't help, keep raising the concern, and ideally, if multiple players experience the same issue, it'll gain more visibility.

    4. Community Feedback: Engage with the community on the EA forums, Reddit, and other platforms. Sometimes other players might have found a workaround or can collectively raise the issue's visibility.

    I've tried Database Rebuild and Settings Reset and it didn't help at all, it's very frustrating because it's affecting my gaming experience very badly and decreasing my chances of winning, specially in Champions and Rivals
