FC 24 crashin on black screen

Just bought FC 24 today through the Steam. When I start the game, the AC loads and Fifa opens to a black windowed screen, then crashes within a few seconds. Had the exact same issue trying to play Fifa 23. On a laptop.

Across both games I've exhausted most/all the fixes I could find online:

Uninstall/reinstall game (multiple times) and same for the anticheat, install certificates for anticheat, run with admin on/off for both game and anticheat, verified integrity of game files/repaired files, tried something to do with the CFG under exploit protection in Windows, booted with or without a controller connected,disabeld real time protraction.run the game in offline mode . made exceptions for the game and AC in the firewall. Maybe missed a couple little things but that's about all of it . Anything else I could try? Or something obvious I've missed...
