FC 24 crashing

Question

have been playing FC24 on computer for a year -- purchased and installed through Steam;

now receiving this message:

link2ea://launchgame/2195250?platform=steam&theme=fc24

Application not found

followed by this message:

EA SPORTS FC 24

failed to start process for this game: "The operation was cancelled by the user"

(0x4C7)

Uninstalled program and reinstalled through Steam - same result

Steam support non existent

AE Sports support non existent

any help would be much appreciated

Is the EA app running in the background while you're trying to launch the game from Steam?

just oened and signed into EA account , tried tp start program in steam - same result

Ok, that's probably what's causing the issue. Even though you've purchased the game on Steam, it requires EA app to be running in the background in order to launch and play the game. You will need to make sure your Steam and EA accounts are connected and have both apps running at the same time. Can you please check the&nbsp;Connected Accounts tab in your EA Account settings and verify if your Steam and EA accounts are connected?
