After speaking to EA for the 3rd time, I spoke to a wonderful EA member of staff who resolved the issue for me with great speed and with ease. Glad I spoke to this member of staff.

Update* So I've been told to wait for 29th to see if it resolves itself and if not then tough luck by the sounds of it.
