Fifa points transfer

not sure if anyone can help me, i bought fifa 23 points on mistake and redeemed them through the ea web page, upon logging into ea fc 24 i never was prompted for the choice to move my fifa points over from 23, upon research ive found out it can only be transferred over once, is this the case? will support do it for me? as know it seems like ive accidently wasted £100 on points for a game that i will no longer play (fifa 23)
