First time shot milestone bug

In player career I have a contract objective to get a certain amount of first time shot goals. However, it doesn't count the goal if there is any kind of modifier on the shot ( eg chip shot, finesse, flair, etc) only ordinary shots count, surely all first time shots should count right?
