Game freezes during player negotiations

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Either try to buy a player from your transfer market shortlist, or, try to negotiate with a player being offered to your team.
What happens when the bug occurs? When the game goes to the cut scene with the manager, and gives you options to negotiate or offer a price, it’ll freeze at some point before getting through to the end.
What should be happening instead? It shouldn’t freeze.
Every time the game has to use a cut scene with the manager, it is very very choppy. Then, as mentioned, it freezes every time I try to negotiate with players in the transfer market making it literally impossible to add a player to my team (and thus complete a manager objective).
