When entering a game on Ultimate Team, the controller does not respond on the kit selection screen apart from the Add Guest button. There's no fix to this issue and it happens every time I search for a game. Any fix would be much appreciated?

I’m having the same problem just freezes anyone know how to get rid of this been happening for two days now!
Similar issue on my Xbox S. The game will run fine until it doesn’t. It freezes on a screen (Select a Side on this occasion) and I can't do anything.
The last time it happened I reinstalled the game to fix it...

I am unable to select my kit when i try to play an online match. The only button i can press is Y and it says "must be signed in as a guest to play this game." The game thinks that my turtle beach wireless headset is my main controller. If i shutoff my headset, it says "your controller has been disconnected." I can then re look for a match. Once I am in the match I am able to turn the headset back on. This is very frustrating and it was an issue on fifa 23 too that never got fixed. Does anyone have a fix for this? I am on Series X.
Why does the game think my headset is my controller? This is such a joke its literally the same game as fifa 23 with all the same bugs.

How often does the bug occur? Often (At least 5 times a day)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure how to reproduce but it occurs most often when the kit selection screen shows up for a rivals game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game stops responding to controller input in that I cannot:
1. Select a jersey
2. Back out of the kit selection/match.
3. Cannot advance into the match.
If I unplug my controller (It is a wired-only controller) it kicks me from the game/kit selection and then I can move around the menus normally but attempting to start another rivals game causes the same issue 100% of the time.
What should be happening instead? My controller input should always be registered and I should be able to choose a kit and start the game.
This also happens randomly throughout the menus. There have been a number of times I'll be doing something in the transfer market and all of a sudden I cannot press any buttons. The game does not freeze as the music continues to play, sound cues for pressing buttons still get registered, and if I mouse over buttons they enlarge like I can select them but no input is registered from that either.

Exactly the same keeps happening to me, it’s an absolute joke. It’s given me 15 losses for the pleasure as well, as my only way out of it is by dash boarding. Would love ea just to sort there buggy game out, I literally can’t get into any games at the moment. No matter what I try

SInce I started playing with my PS5 controller it suddenly stops be responsive on the KIT Selection phase or even on the Player Transfer window. The temporary resolution is to restart the game but this happens a lot.
Is anyone having the same issue? Is it an EA bug?
