Game Frozen at "Select a Side" screen

This happens in both squad battles and rivals game play. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the game, reset my xbox completely, deleted corrupt files and yet it keeps happening. 

The only way to get out of the screen is by either going offline (and subsequently backing out of Ultimate Team) or turning off the xbox. Once it happens one time it doesn't stop so if I log back in, the same thing occurs. The only way I can make it work is if I come back the next day and sometimes it will let me into a game. 

The game has also frozen when I've gone into settings to try and delete any corrupt files as well.
