Game won't open

Updated windows 11 pre release build last night, own game through steam. Verify integrity of game files brings attached image on first launch and then it goes back to doing nothing after subsequent launch attempts. Game files are on a separate drive than my C: drive. I've tried reinstalling game through steam, reinstalling / repairing / uninstalling FC24 anti cheat through troubleshooter, opening the game a bunch, installing windows updates, running SFC. PC meets hardware requirements, I was able to play before I updated my pc.

Fixed the problem for now, type "Reset this PC" in search bar and this should send you to a settings page with a "Go Back" button which will uninstall the update and made my game work again.
The recent update was definitely the problem.

I agree. Sadly, I insist; in my case I cannot go back to the previous Windows version. Hence, I'm doomed until a new fix is due... Cheers!

Heyo, another option would be leaving the windows insider program which involves completely reinstalling windows to the stabler general public build if you’re really desperate to play fc. From past experiences with games breaking with insider updates, it can take a long time until a patch is put out. The insider program tends to be more drastic and unstable with the changes which are implemented to test new features for windows, often changing the way things work behind the hood. Another alternative to playing fc would be a cloud gaming platform, I used to use nvidias I believe for past games but I’m not sure if it’s still operational.

Can't leave it, unless I do a complete reinstall, which wouldn't be recommended, due to what I use my computer for.
