Half time freeze

Every one out of three games at the end of the first half the game just freezes and the menu doesn't appear. There's just an infinite loop of cutscenes and the only command I can use is alt f4. I heard other people encountering the same said problem in online when the opponent leaves the game but it happens in single player modes like manager mode as well. I tried fixing the files, troubleshooting, deleting and redownloading the game but none of them worked. This is getting frustrating and it's been months without a fix. Any ideas?
