i am unable to sprint in ea fc and also not able to dribble using left stick

i am unable to sprint using my right triggers and left stick in ea fc , it looks more like a controlled sprint. When I want to dribble using my left stick only the player stands still and does not move . I am in problem with this, the game play seems very bad due this. Please help me to solve this problem
