Insanely high ping

Hello.

So I have horrendous connection issues these past few days. I have insane ping despite the game showing me that I have around 50 ping. So I imagine its either jitter or packet loss. I've tried turning playstyles thing off, restarted my PC and my router. Tried using both wireless and cable. It takes like 2-3 seconds for the game to take my input. I'm not exaggerating by any means. I can literally count after pressing change player button and it takes 2 seconds at the very least. The game is basically unplayable at this point. Any solutions to this? I have a decent internet and I don't have issues in ANY other online game. This only happens in FC24. I'm uploading my connection reports too. This was not happening a week back by the way. I used to have some lag but nothing this serious

    Did you show your ISP the test results? Packet loss is either coming from your home network or ISP. You mention restarting your router, but did you also power cycle your modem?

    Hi there, @HamishLeeFord 

    The problem looks to be the packet loss you're having. There are some connection troubleshooting steps here that may help. Also, it would be good to contact your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues.

  • Hello Aljo. There is nothing there that i didn't already try. I switched DNS as the last resort and it's still the same thing. I contacted my ISP yesterday and they confirmed there was nothing wrong on their end. I already know that since as I said this issue happens only for FC24. I don't have any issues in any other game or any other app.
