For nearly a month now, the game is unplayable in any online modes....I have a wired ethernet, good wifi connection, able to play other games and was able to play this one until an update from around 3-4 weeks ago. I am able to play offline gamemodes, but when I try any online gamemode, the connection starts off fine but after about 5 mins INGAME I start lagging and a huge delay makes the game unplayable. I've tried contacting support who just told me they will create a support ticket, but in a game which heavily relies on live-service and has a lifespan (currently only around 4 months left) to not fix this after nearly a MONTH is just unacceptable. I've tried switching wifi connections, uninstalling, repairing game files, deleting folders in My Documents, switching VPN settings. Nothing has worked. Anybody else having this issue?

What a joke. My packet loss is at 0.05%. We both know that's not going to cause any issues on my end. (If you read my post, you'd also have seen that I noted I have no trouble playing any other online games) Please stop wasting my time, have a read through these forums and tell me again how the awful lag that we as a community are CONSTANTLY reporting is not coming from EA's terrible servers.

Have you tired both connections and the same thing is happening on each? Also, I'd like you to run the Connection Quality Report and get me a screenshot of the overall score as well as the match history. You can find the button for that on the left side of the screen.

@SexySaintCharlie Thanks. Your tests show you're wired. That's great. I'd definitely recommend you stick to it and not go back to wireless. I'm also noticing you've got packet loss. That normally is coming from either your equipment or ISP. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Also, have you spoken with your ISP to see if they can do some testing on your connection/equipment?

I hate that I enjoy football and want a good footballing game and EA unfortunately has us in a stranglehold with the monopoly they currently enjoy.

Yes. I read your post. Other than switching between wireless and wired, you haven't done much connection troubleshooting. I'm talking about checking your equipment for issues, consulting your ISP, using alternate DNS settings, enabling QoS, etc. You're also not explaining what kind of lag you're having. Are your players just feeling heavy or or is it speed up lag? Regardless, you've got packet loss and that's not coming from our servers.

@SexySaintCharlie Well said. They want the packet loss to be 0.000000% before the game will be normal. Game even randomly has delays offline

Just wanting to bump this post incase anybody comes across it.
Sadly I uninstalled the game and havent touched it since, but today some friends asked if I wanted to play pro clubs. I reinstalled, and suprise suprise, STILL NOT WORKING! SAME ISSUE NOT FIXED LIKE 7 MONTHS LATER 😆 thanks EA!

There is nothing for ea to fix if the issue is on your end. You should show your isp your tests and have them fix it.

In the last 2 months I had the same problem and I contacted support several times and everytime I got the same answer: This problem had been reported several times by other people and our team is working hard to fix it. I guess they will fix it by 2030(hopefully).... And I missed so many rewards at Weekend League because of this lag but at the end of the day, they are EA SPORTS, as long as you bought their game they are happy. Do they care about their community? Only if the community will buy their packs
