Manager career bug, stamina doesn't recover fully

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In my team, if a player gets a red card or banned (from too many yellows) in a competition, their stamina will not be replenished until the next round of fixtures in that competition.
What happens when the bug occurs? The stamina of the banned player never recovers beyond a certain number, regardless of what I do -- change training focus, not playing, sitting on the bench, play in a non-banned game, loaning back and forth etc. The max stamina they can regain is capped at the original stamina that they had at the end of the match they were banned. The bug disappears (the stamina begins to recover to 100%) only after the ban has been served.
What should be happening instead? Their stamina should recover even if they are banned from some competition.
