Manager mode: Players disappearing

I have created 11 players before starting a manager mode and then signing them to use in my squad. Just finished my first season and upon starting season 2 it has removed some of those players from my squad leaving me with 7 of the 11. I reloaded my save but it keeps happening so I have tried the following:


-sign new contracts with each player

-releasing other squad players = 6 of 11 remain

-signed 5 free agents = 2 of 11 remain

-changed starting 11 = 7 of 11 remain

None of the above managed to keep all 11 players meaning I would be without them and making all that time playing wasted. Is there a fix for this or a way to get it to work?

    Just to add to this. I have now tried to release all 11 players and resign them in the next season however some still disappear ☹️

    Just had this happen to me created 11 players and 5 games into my first season one has disappeared completely.

    Out of interest, did you make yours with the same date of birth? Wonder if that’s something to do with it maybe as that’s what I did?

    It happened me to and i'm realy disapointed becouse i wanted to play great carrer mode but every time i go to second season i look on my team and half of my team is gone and they are not existing and when i open teams centr the game just drops and i cant open the carrer mode again

    Happened to me too. The created player disappeared after 10 games.
