Ping causing delay to process my inputs

For the last couples day now I have been experiencing extremely bad connection/ping issues, it is making the game UNPLAYABLE and it is very frustrating. 

I have been joining games beforehand with no issues and my internet connection is good and unchanged since then. It says 16-20ms ping when I load up the opponent. Once I start the game it is running all smooth and my inputs are being executed as expected. As soon as it gets around the 15 minute mark it comes up with the ping and connection symbol and then my inputs have around a 6 second delay to execute.

The opponent on the other hand is not affected and keeps scoring whilst I have to try and predict the future and I am going from winning to loosing. Pull my hair out. Then after this random issue it continues to go back to normal after they have scored 3-4 goals, which by then I might as well quit. Even then it continues to happen every other 10 minutes of the match on and off.

This is every match for the past couple days and I have been enjoying my matches beforehand, but this is unplayable now.
