Player Career Mode - End of Season crashes or gets stuck at signing

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Finished the last game of the season, after hitting "A" to accept my XP and etc. to get to the main screen the game crashes. One time it didn't crash, but then I was just stuck looking at the teams I wanted to sign with. I couldn't select anything and finally just had to end the program.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game crashes or you're simply stuck and not able to do anything.
What should be happening instead? You should be able to select a team to sign with and continue your career.
After completing the final game of the season, whether I play it or sim it, the game either crashes or if I do make it to the end of season I can't actually select a team to sign with. I'm just stuck in that screen. How has this game been out this long and this is still an issue? Honestly, EA you shovel out the same reskinned garbage time and time again and still can't figure out how to get your game modes to function properly?!
