Player switching auto select issues after latest update

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use precision passing to play a long ball from one winger to the other.
What happens when the bug occurs? The auto switch pass receiver switches to a player underneath the ball who is not close to landing point of the ball
What should be happening instead? It should switch to the player who is closest to tor running towards where the ball will land. This worked as expected before the update.
This is in all game modes I've played on ultimate team, but its a gameplay issue so I would imagine it's in all game modes. This has become a problem immediately after the latest update.
When using precision pass over long distances, the receiver is being selected incorrectly. It selects a player underneath the path of the ball and often who is not the closest to where the ball will land. Both videos you can see that my precision pass tracker is almost exactly on the intended target, but this is not who I am given control of.
