Pre order bonus not received

Question for all of those people that haven’t got their pre order content in some form: did you by any chance do the purchase transaction for the game on a main account on PS5 and trying to redeem the content on a different account on the system? That’s what I’ve done, pre-ordered on my account, son not got content on his. We were going to check my account but I dare not log into mine in case he doesn’t get it.
