Me and my club mates thought we were the only ones facing this issue so we tried changing regions, various internet connection troubleshooting methods (restart router etc). Nothing helped so I looked up the issue and find this wonderful thread filled with complaints from people in the same boat.
The matches didn't count during playoffs, the new season on clubs has started and the matches still don't count hence we cannot progress the team to climb the divisions.
I read the community manager's response and they have done their job, escalating the game breaking issue to the developers so I am hoping the developers do their job and fix it sooner than later as all of us affected have paid for the product and expect a working product in return.
