PS5 shareplay 'add guest' not working on Seasons

Situation: two people with PS5; friend owns FC24, invites me to shareplay. Both in the Seasons menu, however when either of us presses triangle to add me a guest, it throws up one of two errors. Eith...

I just managed to fix this. 

The error seemed to lie with the second account (i.e. the guest account WITHOUT PS Plus)

I created a new account to sign into instead, and guest play is now working.
