PSN and Xbox account - EA fc question

hopefully someone can help with this,

my current position is this, PSN account with EA play / Xbox account with EA play, both linked to a single email account.

The game in question is EA FC, i cannot play on the Ps5 and xbox at the same time although they share no game privileges. I read its because the email address is linked to both accounts?

so how do i move forward and separate the consoles so that if someone in my house is playing an EA game on ps5 and someone else wants to play on xbox it will never clash?

i have recently purchased a new xbox so have the ability to start from scratch if necessary but would rather retain my old xbox account due to subscription and content!

thanks in advance for any help

    Hi there, @salv79

You can't play on both Xbox and PS at the same time when both accounts are linked to the same EA account. In order to play on each console at the same time, one of the accounts will need to be linked to a different EA account. What I would recommend is to have the other person create their own PSN ID/Xbox gamertag and link it to a different EA account.

  • Thank you, im assuming the new EA account would need a different email address to the original?
