Re: EA FC 24 disconnecting

I have the same issue, I have lost 5 champions match today and I am very pissed… my connection is perfectly okay, I was even leading and it will disconnect and give me a lose this happens to me almost everytime… pls watch the video it’s annoying and I have lost more than 100 games to this same issue…,

You're connection report is showing significant packet loss so it's really no perfectly okay. What platform are you playing on?

yo does your game freeze during halftime/ goal celebration or cutscenes because thats what is happening to me in every game mode.

You can find some connection troubleshooting steps here.

First, it would be good to power cycle your equipment with these instructions; unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. 

Also, try using alternate DNS settings with these steps. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.

If your router supports QoS (Quality of Service), enable it and give your PS5 priority.

Enable UPnP. However, I have seen rare cases where disabling UPnP helped.

Check your ethernet cable for any damage. Also, it should be at least Cat 6.

If none of this helps, contact your ISP to see if they are noticing issues. You shouldn't be having that much packet loss. 

I’ve lost 5 games to this in champs play offs keeps disconnecting me even thou my WiFi is good

Just had a game and I won 4-2 but when it reached full time it shows me that I am unable to connect to EA servers. I reloaded into the game and I was given a loss record. This really makes me furious as it is not the first time already. This is completely unacceptable.. Please fix your damn issues EA.

You're playing on a wireless connection. Can you switch to a wire or is your router too far away?

i'm using wired connection and it disconnected me on a futchamps in a game i was winning 3-0. it took me out of ultimate team and gave me the loss. It a bit frustrating.

Is this the only time that has happened or does it occur often?

I have just had the same issue this weekend league, 3 or 4 disconnects and a disconnect while im 6-2 up in a match that I need to win to get next rank and I get kicked out in the 90th minute. I have a ethernet cable and have 10 ping all the time so my network is perfect this is an issue with EA coukd you find a solution where i get refunded with the rewards for 9 wins or give me an extra FC game. Thanks

last couple of days have been unplayable, I keep getting disconnected 

Please find the logs attached, everything seems to look good but I keep getting disconnected. My champions run has been destroyed by this, and all objectives and evolutions are so hard to complete because no matches count 

After server maintenance im getting dc nonstop in ultimate team.

my platform is xbox series s and i use wire connection.

Im not alone every xbox player face same issue

You've got a high amount of packet loss. I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem and router. Also, shut down your PC. @EA_Aljo I don't want to answer vulgarly, but believe me when I tell you that I have tried many things to solve the connection errors (I spent a lot of time, a week or so), it is no coincidence that the connection problems occurred after the update. Finally, I have uninstalled this poor game and I am very happy with it.

How about mine? How would u "fix" my issue? Every few games it will disconnect me and I will have DNF. 

I'm pretty sure it is your end. 

i have this problem to i have a wired connection it happens every game i play where i get disconnected in the 90th minute and this is only a problem on fifa is there any way i can fix this?

Do you guys just continually answer on here with the same quick fixes or do you actually check things out? 

Since I started playing FC24 back in September I'd get the odd kick out that yeah could possibly be on my end and be an internet / wifi problem but over the last week to two weeks there seems to be a major game issue.

It not likely that myself and so many others are having wifi problems!

It's more likely a server / game issue, the on screen messages are even different to earlier in the year!

I now have multiple losses in games that I was winning,! 

You really need to look at a wider issue rather than the company line about wifi and packet loss!

That's just the nature of wireless. It's an unstable connection prone to interference. Try switching to a wire to see if there's a difference.
