Hey guys, please open the fcsetup.ini file in /Documents/FC 24 and try modifying the three lines as follows
REFRESH_RATE = 400
MAX_FRAME_RATE = 120
WAITFORVSYNC = 0
and never open graphic settings in-game in order to avoid overriding the settings again.
In my case I have 240 hz monitor so I tried 400 for refresh rate. Feel free to try 200 or 250 for 144 hz monitors.
Can you share the result after trying it?
So the game is dead by now. The only playable modes for me is online, basically FUT and Seasons. Playing Kick off or trying the new EURO 2024 tournament is just a stutter fest, almost like 10fps after playing first game smoothly.
I stumbled on FSR2 dlls in the game folder (attached is a screenshot from someone on reddit). Why isn't any option in-game to change the FSR modes like there is in other games? How can I know that it's the FSR implementation in this game that's broken which causes stutters if I cannot turn it off or on by myself to test? Give us option to tweak the FSR settings

You'll see the files in your game folder as well which clearly means there is an upscaling going on in the game which we don't even know how to turn it on to performance mode or quality mode or off completely. We can't also choose how much upscaling there is. The options should have been in the game in the first place
I must add. I've had no trouble playing any of the online modes which is quite strange. I can't play any offline mode without being bombarded with stutters after 30 minutes in the match which renders it pointless to continue. But with Rivals, Weekend League, Squad Battles, I can play as long as I want and I won't face any stutters no matter what. This is quite strange EA

The normal settings do work. I mean the settings you're given when you first opened the game or if you delete fifasetup in EA FC Document folder. It has v-sync on and Frame rate is locked to your monitor refresh rate. If you'd change anything from there do not touch the frame options and the Cut scenes quality. You can play around with the resolution and other settings to high or ultra if your pc can handle it. If you'd want v-sync off and upcapped refresh rate then window borderless is the way to go.
i tried lossless scaling it help boost my fps got +30-40 fps, but it cause input delay. if you wanna use fsr or scaling in fc24 default without input delay. go to nvidia control panel settings > adjust desktop size and position on your left > then choose no scaling in scaling option then apply close the control panle. launch the game. change display settings into windowed. choose your resolution to 1280x720. maximize your screen on right corner of the screen. your game run in 1280x720. but quality look like 1920x1080. give a try. i used this method past 6months even i can play in wide camera wihtout input delay.
