Skill moves training evolution not working

Product: EA SPORTS FC 24
Platform:PlayStation 5 Digital Edition

Which part of the mode? Evolutions
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 29/02/2024
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 05:00pm
What is your time zone? GMT (UTC)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have 78 rated Shoretire with a 3 star skill moves, 86 pace, 67 shooting, 73 passing, 85 dribbling, 49 defence and 66 physical
What happens when the bug occurs? When I try to start the evolution I just hear two clicks and nothing else happens.
What should be happening instead? I should be starting the evolution

My previously evo'ed Shoretire cannot start skill moves training even though he fits the requirements.

I have tried multiple days and now there is only 1 day left to unlock it.

Hi mate, assuming you are just clicking x once on 'start evolution' - try holding x for a few seconds on 'start evolution'. I think they changed it so you have to hold the button to start some evos. Hope this helps. Cheers

Took me a while to figure out this was the issue. Don't recall reading about this change in the patch notes not really sure why they decided to change this non issue. When there's still half a dozen glitches that are still prominent and have been since launch. Such as faces disappearing from cards, the subs made in game appearing at the top of your screen and not disappearing until you go into the start menu and come out of it. Sigh EA for you I guess....

Legend! That resolved the issue, strange that they changed this for no reason.
