The Game (FC24) crashed during New Season in Career Mode

I just ran into this new bug introduced by the latest patch. Reached the second season of a manager career started after the patch. Once I progress into second season the game crashes to desktop the moment I try to enter squad hub or the coach management.

I can enter the youth academy, tactical vision, team management, team sheets and various scout screens, but anything tied to the squad hub in season 2 crashes the game.

Note I can save it, but if I try to load that save it crashes the same way, so for now I load the last save from previous season release my players one by one hoping that one of them is tied to it.

I fear however it is one of the 3 youth players promoted and scheduled for loans that I now can not release. Reason being this was the first save/season in many I saw a youth scout return with a bugged youth prospect that crashed the game if I clicked on it.

Well it didn't take long. I created two players after that patch to add to my roster of "impactful" additions. The first one was okay. I started with him since that was the first created player that bugged in the creation as in he got a regen face, not just the silhouette.

The one I made before that, normal silhouette, once he was out I can now enter the squad screen in second season. 

So what happened to Thomas? I shortlisted him after releasing him so I went to look, and yep that bugged youth prospect I mentioned. He looked how my created player Thomas Eddieson looks now.

 ...so he retired at 18 and regened himself I guess.

I still think it might be relevant to op's crash or similar. If you find yourself in crash trouble in the next season, my bet is you have a bugged player. Most likely a scouted one unless you have some created suspects like me.

I have exactly the same problem. I spent a season with a created player (I don't know if he could have influenced this) and as soon as season 2 (the next one) starts, the game crashes to the desktop and nothing can be done about it. I hope this problem will be solved soon

Update for this one as I experience it too:
There are 3 ways to end the season (at least try):

1. If you're in the middle of the european championship, play the last game and try to end season -> resulting in the screen stuck with no option to stay in your club nor to trasfer.

2. Stay in your club -> pc game crashes.

3. Transfer before last game of the season -> works, this is the only way I was able to move on.

@ea sports - Even though this only happens in one scenario and in game, I still updated all the drivers, rebooted the pc, cleaned registry, scanned game files for integrity, etc. So please don't give me the dx diag crap.
It's the same diagnostics and the same fc24 installation that works for non player career mode.

I have a PS5 too, and haven't experienced it, but I chose Brazil as my nationality in that career, so no international games for me there.

I guess Konami has to thank you for these bugs since you made me try them again.

Doing no. 3 will eventually get you stuck too.
You transfer, then play the game, and on "End Season", the game crashes.

Not going to bother trying the club career., I suppose ea don't test this scenario as well.

Just wish they'd put as much effort to test this as they put in the credit card charging of the players they're about to rob off their money.

Haven't touched my career mode since March.
Just tried a new player career on my PS5 after my son told me this thing is fixed.
Made it to the end of the season, and when starting a new one - the same, game crashes, both on ps5 and on pc.

Needless to say that during these months I saw many updates to the casino mode game, but not to career.

Guess it's UFL time soon, less disrespect to users than EA.
