Trainer and Competitor Mode settings don't save.

Every time I reload my career "Competitor Mode" is off, I've tested this after saving manually and using autosave. And I know I'm saving because changes to Difficulty would be saved correctly, it's just that "competitor mode" is OFF. 
For every match I need to change my Trainer Settings, even without exiting the career mode. And my trainer settings are correctly saving for Kick Off mode, but when playing the career I need to fix what they would show at the start of every game.
