I'm trying to play co-op with my friend. I'm on xbox Series S and my friend on PC.
After I added him to my friendslist, I still can't invite him to my game.
The game says: Add friends with FUT Clubs to be able to play with them.
We've tried resetting the game. We both checked if crossplay was enabled.
Nothing seems to work.
Any help, tips or solutions?

I’m having the exact same problem me and my friend both on Xbox and he’s on my ea friend list but just keeps saying add friends to play 🤬🤬

I am on PC, my friend is on Xbox Series X
I can invite him to my game and it works fine
However, when he tries to invite me, either I don't show up as an option to invite or I get the message "unable to join lobby".
We can never get to use his team, hope it is fixed asap!
Same problem...both on Xbox series x....can see all my friends by hitting R2...but on every coop mode it keeps telling me that I have to add can friends to my friendlier to play coop....we have tried everything already to fix it....reinstall....delete friends...add friends...
But my friend can invite others and play with them....

Did you ever find out what the problem is? I’m trying to join my friends pro clubs and nobody is showing as online although I have them all as friends
by the looks of things they need to fix something same for me.

Exactly the same issue here. Works fine when he (series S) joins my lobby (PC) but absolutely not the other way around. Can never use his team. So annoying blatently needs a fix EA….
Im on ps4 and tried to play Cross platform UT with my mate who is on the most up to date xbox s or x i cant remember what it is and this didn't work, when i go to the invite section it just showed offline friends and 1 of my other ps4 friends appeared in this section and not my friend I wanted to play with. I have spent £100 on the ultimate edition and very disappointed please fix this soon! Thanks
