I can read you're having issues trying to pause the game on different modes in EA SPORTS FC™ 24, but it doesn't happen for every game you play.
So, can you please share with us the following info:

*If you don't know how to turn on the Input Overlay, go to Settings > Game Settings > Visual > Input Overlay.
Platform: PC/Windows 10
Account: This Username
Game Mode: Career Mode
Date and time: October 8 and 9
Issue: At some point during the game the HUD will dissapear. R2-subs and entering the pause menu becomes impossible. The game is playable till halftime. Then an endless cutscene starts that is not skippable with any buttonpress and goes forever.
I mean I really think the new Menu design with the 45 page list instead of the one page from the last 14 games sucks but you can still let me access it, right? So i can scroll down for 2 minutes to find the right option?
Only Solution so far is to Alt+F4 so the game isnt saved AND the bug re-appears after 1-2 games.
