We can't connect to the service you need right now. HTTP 404 error

Hi,

My son can't connect to the FC 24 servers after starting the game on Xbox series X.

It says "We can't connect to the service you need right now. HTTP 404 error"

Then another messages pops up saying "You have lost your online connection. Check your home network. You will not be able to access FC's online features until you can recoonect to EA servers.

Go to ea.com/unable-to-connect to find otu more".

He has a Gamepass active subscription. 

My account and my other son's account are working fine. It is definitely not an internet problem. 

Can you provide support for this case?

  • @ydoqa I am also having the same issue.

    My account and my younger sons accounts work fine on the same Xbox. Just my older sons that doesn't work.

    Exactly the same as you describe in your post.

    It was working for him up until about 2 weeks ago, as we have owned the game since launch last year.

    Did you ever get a resolution from EA?

    I fixed it! Ok, the problem is that the email associated with your gamertag has changed from the one used to link EA to your Xbox or PS5 account. In my case, my brother's email was linked to EA but not mine even tho we were on the same gamertag. Once it was unlinked and relinked with my EA account it fixed everything. Hope this helps.
