My kid (11years) cannot play EA FC24 Ultimate team as he can not logon to EA server due to too strict parental controls.I have tried to disable Playstation parental controls temporarily, but is does not help.With EA FIFA 23 I was able to enter the EA server and accept terms and conditions on his account while disabling PS parental controls./Math

@DanFUTJames this is not a solution, this is not even a workaround. I have tried using an EA account with a teen DOB and a PS child account and this does not work. It is in no parent's interests to create a 13+ PS account for a child as this removes parental restriction setings which a parent would otherwise want to set on a child account.The game is PEGI-3 rated so should be able to be launched by everyone 3yrs old or older, it is not possible to even launch the game on PS4 unless your age rating is set to 12+ (I don't want my child to have permanent access to 12+ games yet)A child PS account cannot be granted access to play FC24 online (UT, Seasons, etc) whatsoever, even if all parental restrictions are temporarily removed completely, despite EA telling us that they follow the parental control settings configured on the console.

@Anonymous there is an age limit, in the UK it is 13.If you are under the age of 13 however you need your parent to grant you access to online content selectively.The issue is that even when this access is provided, and despite EA confirming that they follow the parental control restrictions set at the console level, it does not grant the child access to online play modes.This is only the case on PS4, is not an issue on PS5, and was never an issue with FIFA22 or FIFA23

Anybody found a solution to this yet? Having the same problem but it's only started happening since December (stepson had the game from release date and was playing the online game modes fine for a few months).There is no option anywhere in PSN to change the DOB of an account, so this isn't a solution. I have also tried setting his games allowed age to 1yo, so that he could request my account to play the game, but this doesn't work either.Seems to be zero engagement from EA on these forums so if anybody knows anywhere else to get help that would be great.

You have to be 13 to play online. (I am assuming you're on playstation?) I'd suggest changing the date of birth on EA's website in account settings, or changing the PS/Xbox account age to bypass this. For some reason parental controls don't work with EAFC 24. Hope this helps 🙂

Same problem here and supporting orig. post.
Parental controls were able to temporary shut down for earlier FIFA's 23 or 22 and child could play FUT.

Should be an age limit on FUT to be honest.
16 or maybe even 18.
Not really a game for young impressionable children.
There are many other far more suitable modes that don't involve microtransactions, loot boxes and the encouragement of toxic behaviour.

Hi, The problem is not in the DOB set on the EA account. I have linked it with my account set to 1981 and it still blocks my kid (2013) from playing online. I have disabled the parental control for his account and it still shows the same stupid notification.
